Fingerprint Resistance Surface
Stainless steel is often subjected to the touch of sweaty hands in elevators, on reception desks, or appliances. While some stains are easy to live with, others can be an offence to the eye. That's why Outokumpu can provide you with a fingerprint resistant easy-clean surface. By applying a microscopically thin clear coat layer, the surface is resistant not only to fingerprints but also to a multitude of other common stains.
Typical applications include:
- Lifts, doors, escalators
- Counter and bar tops
- Refrigerators and freezers
- Any surfaces that are susceptible to fingerprints
Available in standard steel grades EN 1.4307 (ASTM 304L) and EN 1.4404 (ASTM 316L).
